FAQ

How many photographers will be at our wedding?

About 90% of the wedding I photograph, I always have a second photographer follow me on the wedding day. When I say you get a second photographer, I mean another professional photographer to capture the other way of moment from the other angle. This is to ensure that I can provide consistent quality coverage in two places at once and/or when the guest list is 50+.

Do you shoot with digital or film?

I actually did Hybrid Photography which mean I’m doing both digital and film on the wedding day ! With the digital is great for capturing on-the-fly moments and incredible night photography, film is in a class of its own when it comes to crafting fine art pieces. Film brings a soft, elegant and timeless feel with beautiful gentle tones, which my work is distinctly known for – this is my signature style. I appreciate both forms of photography, however what’s most important and compelling to me is being able to capture beautiful images with my cameras in such a way that requires little post-processing.

How many images do we get?

I aim to give you as many good photos as possible as I know how special these moments are to you. At the same time I also don’t believe that ‘more’ automatically means ‘better’. On average, you can expect 600 images for a 10-hour wedding day and 1000 images for a 12-14-hour wedding day. This works out to be about 100 images per hour of shooting time.

Do you edit all the photos you provide us?

Absolutely! All the photos supplied to you will be beautifully colour-managed and edited by Fine Art and Fearless which mean the best result. This is why there is a turnaround time of up to 6 weeks to see your wedding photos. Turnaround for engagement and lifestyle sessions is up to 4 weeks. The edited photos are included in all my collections and all images will be provided to you in both high and low resolution.

When will we receive our albums?

With my professional and I expect the album to be in your hands within 4 weeks of finalising the album design. If you want to order extra album which mean I will charge extra depend on the size of your order. Other thing if you want to other extra album which mean the same size of the album have been base on the package will extra charge $350/album and $50/per page if add-on.

Do you travel outside of Melbourne for wedding?

Yes I Do! I’m available to travel anywhere around Australia and worldwide

How many wedding do you take each year?

As I’m a boutique photography studio rather than a commercial one, I only take on a limited amount of wedding commissions each year. This number is currently sitting at 15. This ensures every single one of my couple receives my very best service, as well as allowing myself time to continually learn and grow, creating unique, beautiful and timeless images for each couple I have the privilege of working with.

Are you available for international travel?

Absolutely, I most certainly am. Travelling is an important part of my work as seeing and experiencing other foreign places is a major source of inspiration for me. A dream of mine is to photography more destination weddings! Hence, if you are located overseas or looking to have your wedding abroad, all you need to do is get in touch and let me know where you planned to have your wedding and we can work all the details out from there.

Will our photos will be displayed on your website or blog?

Definitely YES if clients happy to let us displace their wedding photo on our website or blog. I’m always update my website, social media platforms and blog wherever possible, however it is usually up to my discretion as to whether or not a particular image from an engagement session or wedding will be published. Should you have any concerns about this, please let me know and I am happy to explain or discuss this further with you.

How do we confirm our booking with you?

It’s very simple! In order to book and secure your wedding date with me, a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, one more thing that with us, we don’t charge any travel fees. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. I cannot hold any dates without a signed contract and deposit. Of course, you are also welcome to pay the total balance upfront or we can discuss to make an arrangement payment in 3 steps (First with 50% deposit to save the date, next payment with 40% after wedding day, and final payment with 10% when we delivery all images)

Do you accept PayPal transfer or Bank transfer?

Absolutely yes that I accept PayPal transfer if you aren’t in Australia and Bank transfer if you are live in Australia. As I’m a small business, there are no fees for direct deposit if Bank transfer in Australia and fees apply if Paypal transfer not in Australia.

Do we have to provide meal for us?

Yes please. From the time we start, we dedicate ourselves to provide you the best service possible, running around unobtrusively to capture the story of your day unfold in its entirety. Hence, for every wedding, I ask that 2 crew meals be prepared for us during your reception dinner to keep us running on full energy for the rest of the night. I promise that this little kindness to show your appreciation for our hard work will go a very long way.
