"This is a very special time of our lives. Opting to have this captured on medium format film by my talented husband and picking up the confidence to have a boudoir shoot done, I couldn’t think of a better way to remember this raw, intimate, close bond I have with my baby boy growing inside, along with all the hopes, dreams and aspirations we have for her. I believe these photographs encapsulate exactly this beautiful feeling I have deep down inside and, in the years to come, will only grow greater in importance to me.
Pregnancy has been the most amazing and empowering experience of my life. It is a strange, wonderful, miraculous feeling having a tiny ‘mini us’ growing bit by bit each day inside until the time arrives when she is ready to make her debut into the world. Nothing quite compares. It is a mix of great anticipation, wonderment and apprehension of the unknown, a blend of all sorts of emotions and physiological changes in my body. Truly, our hearts have never been so full – the joy this little person brings us is simply immeasurable. We can’t wait to meet you little one.”
